PropagandaTV is a unique,curated collection of films made by and for the U.S. government to influence public opinion on subjects as wide ranging as; war, politics, economic systems, sex and morality, nuclear threats, marriage, communism and other cultural ideologies. These films were shown during the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, to civic groups and school students. These films are the basis of what we have come to know as American culture.
